The spring semester of HUF offers a wide variety of experiences different form the other semesters.  Students visit the Tuscan towns and cities while the crowd of tourists are still saving up their vacation time for the summer months.  With the medieval streets clear for exploring, the students  keep warm from the cold winter months that Italy has to offer. Midway through the semester, the gray clouds part and the sunshine of spring caresses the hillsides making way for the radiant colors of the primavera.  Like the temperature, the students’ spirits are lifted as they wrap up their classwork and travel south to Rome and the Italian countryside.  It is an amazing time shared with friends formed by challenging yet rewarding times spent together in the arms of Italia.
